Now That Were Done I know this is practically (if we skip out the video/quote posts) the third 'review' post I've done in a row. But just like the last one its more of a 'ya'll have to get on this' post and I really just want to show my support for someone who is really rad. Tessa Violet, a singer/songcrafter/filmy type person/youtuber just released her debut album Maybe Trapped Mostly Troubled. Its really exciting to see people doing things they love which makes MTMT even more awesome. The album is sort of like country pop meets adorable geeky lyrics. I'm a fan of Tessa's acoustic tracks (like my day in music always makes me giggle) and to hear these more developed tunes is pretty exciting. The album starts with a generous scoop of sweet icecream or delicious coffee. Ok. Not really. But the track "Just Right" is just the right tune to get me feelin' the happy feels. And the moment where Tessa sings "please don't cry" on "This I Pray for You" my heart breaks because she sings it with so much emotion and I'm all don't cry, oh don't cry, please, dayum it, I'm crying. Thanks Tessa. Each song has a certain style which is sooooooo in sync with the lyrics. If ya listen to the album you'll get what I'm trying to get at.
