Bulletproof Sonics serve up more of the good stuff on this four tracker which sees Childs & Moore and the Blunted Funk Project going head to head over four tracks and two sides of wax.
Childs & Moore take side A, opeing their account with a groovin' go go tinted rework of James Brown's "Get On The Goodfoot". As our own David Walker often says, he doesn't ever want to hear Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" ever again, having had to play it out rather a lot while DJing. I think he might change his mind though on listening to this strings, Rhodes and acapella version. A total heartstring tugger and the perfect interlude to change the tempo of your DJ set.
Blunted Funk Project drop a killer acid-disco meets jazz-funk cut with "Hunt Uptown". Lastly they do something similar with Brass Contruction's "Changin'" on "Changing Forever" - a pitched down electronic disco-dub version.
