Ben Mono has been releasing music on Compost, Gomma Records and other top European labels for some time, but the Berliner now makes his American debut on Plant Music. The Feel EP features two originals that are aimed straight at the dance floor, mixing a unique blend of house and garage with cut up vocals and his signature love of blips and beeps. Ben delivers the funk. Remixes come courtesy of Brooklyn's Bit Funk, who deepens "The Feel" and adds some very sweet lead bass synth lines. London's CSY and Stripes strip down "How It Is" adding synths and pianos that take the track to a blissful level (dub included). Finally, the UK's Dale Howard beefs up "Who It is," making it more of a linear dance floor chugger.
