Lisa Mychols is a 15-year music industry veteran. Her California sun-soaked releases have ap-
peared on the Rev-ola/EMI
and Wizzard-In-Vinyl labels. Her classic holiday album, Lost Winter’s
Dream, was produced by members of Wondermints, Beach Boy Brian Wilson’s band. Lisa’s
songs are published by Cactus Boy Music, BMI.
Lisa is not only a skilled vocalist, but proficient in guitar, bass & drums. She’s been a key mem-
ber of several prominent West Coast pop groups, including The Masticators (with Severo
Journacion of The Smithereens and noted actor, Robbie Rist), The Waking Hours and Nushu.
She has also had the honor of being the opening act for several international superstars, in-
cluding Rooney and Maroon 5.
Lisa’s Vandalay Records debut, Above, Beyond & In Between, recalls an innocent time, when
hit songs were three minutes long and purchased on 45’s sold in the music section of your local
department store. Catchy sing-a-long choruses are augmented by nifty 12-string Rickenbacker
fills and layers of vintage Vox organ.
The songs Make Believe, Foolin’ The World & Ferris Wheel are already in heavy rotation at
radio stations known for supporting classic pop acts. Among Lisa’s ardent supporters is famed
L.A. D.J. Rodney Bingenheimer. These songs, in addition to the other nine on the album,
make Above, Beyond & In Between the perfect soundtrack for summer. West Coast tour dates
to be anounced.
