Hailing from Canada's capital, Rockin’ Blues outfit THREE TIMES LUCKY were formed in 2010 by a group of veteran Ottawa, Ontario based musicians, with a plan to form a collective of like minded musicians from the local music community, and to combine their mutual desire to perform traditional rural and urban American Blues/Roots music, whilst working with the added commitment to writing, performing and recording their own unique brand of original good time, rejuvenatin’ juke joint blues.
The guys in Three Times Lucky have been told they’re the epitome of the Friday-night bar band. With rootsy songs that sound like the Eagles, the Stones and The Band, delivered by veteran musicians who are obviously enjoying themselves, the Ottawa band knows how to get a crowd dancing, laughing and having a good time.

Three Times Lucky play mostly original blues-based music, along with a healthy dose of traditional and newer blues/roots music, including some classics by Sonny Boy Williamson II (Rice Miller), Muddy Waters, Hudson Whittaker (Tampa Red), Jimmy Reed and Delbert McClinton, although they are not averse to slipping into a Chuck Berry rocker, a Stones tune, a Steve Earle ballad or even adding a bit of a backbeat to a Hank William’s classic like ‘Mind Your Own Business’.

The band consists of songwriter, lead guitarist and vocalist, David Reid; Leslie Rohonczy on lead vocals and percussion; Larry Deszcz on drums and vocals; Jeff Holgate on harmonica, keyboards and vocals; Allan Wilmore on keyboards, guitar and vocals; Zteve Reid on bass and vocals; and Norm Provencher on lap steel guitar.
