Genuine 80's orchpop classic, here in it's extended 12" form, although the 7" mix is included too. Bonus. I'm not sure that the 12" adds much actually, as the shorter version is so perfectly formed.
The remaining two songs are good enough to make me wonder why they never made a bigger impact beyond this record. I think perhaps some bands have a song that is so good, everything else in the set seems to pale by comparison. I'd love to hear the demo of this - I'm wondering if it's all in the production job.
For a bonus point, can anyone tell me the Julian Cope connection? And no Googling, you fuckers.
